Autograph Sentiment signed: "Most Sincerely/André Baruch", 6x4 album leaf. French-born André Baruch (1908-1991) served in the US Army in World War II, active in the formation of the Armed Forces Radio Service. Baruch and his wife, American singer Bea Wain, were radio co-hosts and disc jockeys, first for many years in New York City and then in Palm Beach, Florida. Baruch was the announcer on many radio programs, including those of Fred Waring and Kate Smith, as well as Your Hit Parade. Although mainly associated with musical programming, Baruch achieved a lifetime dream in the radio/TV broadcast team for the Brooklyn Dodgers (1954-1955). Binding holes at left edge. Corners creased.
