trading card #129. Career stats on verso. Andrew (Andy) Etchebarren (1943-2019) is a
retired American Major League Baseball catcher of Basque descent. He played professionally
for the Baltimore Orioles, California Angels and Milwaukee Brewers between 1962 and
1978, totaling 15 seasons. The last man to bat against the legendary Sandy Koufax,
Etchebarren helped the Orioles win the 1966 and 1970 World Series. He is a two-time
All-Star with two World Series Championships. With a career batting average of .235, 49
home runs and 309 runs batted in throughout 948 games, he was a great success. Lightly
toned. Edges slightly worn. Fine condition.
