Andrew Stephen "Andy" Roddick (born in 1982) is the top ranked U.S. tennis
player (he reached No. 1 in 2003), ranked fifth in the world
as of 2007. Known for his lightning fast serves, Roddick, who turned pro
in 2000, has been clocked at 155 m.p.h, and he has broken his own records three
times. The winner of the U.S. Open in 2003, Roddick has been a
finalist at Wimbledon (2004, 2005) and a semi-finalist at the
Australian Open (2003, 2005 and 2007). He holds 23 singles titles and
three doubles titles, and Roddick has earned almost $13 million in
prize money as of August 2007. Minor surface scratches, else fine
