The daughter of Antonio Molina, she gained widespread recognition for her star turn in That Obscure Object of Desire (1977), legendary director Luis Buñuel's final film. She was the first foreign actress to win the esteemed Italian David di Donatello prize. Her other film credits include The Eyes, the Mouth (1982), Streets of Gold (1986), Live Flesh (1997), and Snow White (2012).
