Merrily/Mona Vivian/13-2-1918" ANITA ELSON (1898-1985) was a popular
American singer and dancer. Performing regularly at revues in New York City
and London, she appeared on Broadway in The Cohan Revue of 1916
(1916). British pantomime MONA VIVIAN (1894-1971) was born in Aston,
England. For years she worked as a Principal Boy at the Royal Theatre in
London, Palace Theatre in Manchester, Alhambra Theatre in Glasgow, Grand Theatre
in Leeds, Shakespeare Theatre in Liverpool and the Prince's Theatre in Bristol,
among others. Notable performances include Aladdin (1919),
Puss in Boots (1924) and Humpty Dumpty (1926).
