ANJELICA HUSTON
Index card signed by actor Anjelica Huston, affixed to a copy of the script for 1991's The Addam's Family. Huston played Morticia Addams in this movie, a performance that earned her a Golden Globe.
Signature: "Anjelica Huston". 3x5 card, affixed to a copy of the script for the movie adaptation of The Addams Family. Script is 124 pages, 8½x11x½, bound with three brass fasteners, photocopy. First draft script, with revisions dated June 7, 1990 by Larry Wilson and Caroline Thompson. Based on the characters of Charles Addams. Huston was Morticia Addams in this 1990 movie, based on the 1964-1966 TV series of the same name and the cartoons of Charles Addams. This role earned her a Golden Globe, and she earned another when reprised Morticia in the 1993 sequel, Addams Family Values. In 1985, Huston, born in 1951,earned an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance as the vengeful girlfriend of hit man Jack Nicholson in Prizzi's Honor, making her the first third-generation Academy winner in history. Other worthwhile roles followed in her father's final directorial effort, The Dead (1987), and Woody Allen's Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989). She was also rewardingly directed by her half-brother, Danny Huston, in Mr. North (1988). Huston earned additional Oscar nominations for her outstanding dramatic work in Enemies: A Love Story (1989) and The Grifters (1990). On a lighter note, she was ideally cast as Morticia Addams in the two Addams Family movies in the early 1990s (The Addams Family, 1991, and Addams Family Values, 1993); both earned her Golden Globe nominations. Lightly toned and creased. Photocopy marks. Otherwise in fine condition.
