stockings, taken in Vietnam in 1966. Mounted on a 7¾x9¾ fabric covered
board.
Newspaper photograph and mount signed "Ann-Margret". B/w,
2¼x8¾ mounted to a 7¾x9¾ fabric covered board. According to the copy underneath
this photo, it was taken in March 1966 during a two-week tour of American bases
in Vietnam. An actress who can also sing and dance, Ann-Margret, born
Ann-Margret Olson in Valsjöbyn, Jämtlands län, Sweden in 1941,graced the
screen in such films as Bye, Bye Birdie (1963), Viva Las Vegas
(1964), Carnal Knowledge (1971) and Tommy (1975). A three-time
Oscar nominee, she earned a Golden Globe award as Best Actress in a TV movie for
A Streetcar Named Desire (1984). Photograph is discolored from
adhesive from board and lightly toned. Board is lightly spotted. Photograph has
separated from board, which cuts off signature, and left adhesive residue on
board. Otherwise in fine condition.
