Black and white publicity photograph of a young Ann Miller wearing a

Photograph inscribed and signed: "To Mya -/Good Luck -/Ann
Miller". B/w, 8x10. Ann Miller (1923-2004) began her Hollywood
career at age 11, and with her vibrant personality, great legs and her tap
dancing, won a seven year contract with R.K.O. At the age of 18, she played
Ginger Roger's dancing partner in Stage Door (1937). She danced with Fred
Astaire in Easter Parade (1948) and Bob Fosse in Kiss Me Kate
(1953). In the 1980s, she costarred on Broadway with Mickey Rooney in
Sugar Babies, then toured nationally for a total of nine years. In
Columbia's Hey Rookie (1944), Miller set a tap dance record of 550
taps-per-minute in her climactic musical number. Fine
condition.
