Robison signs this Candid color photo (4x6) shown with fellow Western actors.
Inscribed photograph signed: "For Clint/Ann Robinson", in blue felt tip. Color, 4x6. Ann Robison (b. 1935) was considered a rising star in the early 1950s, but she has stated that her 1957 marriage in Mexico to matador Jaime Bravo "blew my career out of the water." (Her fluency in Spanish did, however, win her voice over roles in several films.) Robinson had a long association with War of the Worlds, starring again in the TV series (1988-1989) and playing Tom Cruises' mother-in-law in the 2005 Spielberg remake. Some may remember her as Officer Grace Downey in radio and TV versions of Dragnet (1954). Photographer's stamp on verso. Fine condition.
