fest, Savoy Theatre, Montpelier, Vermont, August 23, n.y., celebrating the
release of Waldman's poetry collection, Cabin, by Z Press. Another poet
published by Z Press, Reed Bye, was also scheduled to appear. Beginning with
On the Wing (1968), she has published more than 40 books, including
collections of her poems, anthologies and translations. Her readings and
voice recordings are popular. With Allen Ginsberg, she co-founded the Jack
Kerouac School of poetry at the Naropa Institute, Boulder, Colorado. The
concerns of this "post-Beat" poet include Buddhism and feminism. A new volume of
her poems, Dark Arcana, appeared in 2003. Cabin was published in
1981. Lightly creased. Bisecting horizontal fold. Otherwise, fine
condition.
