ANTHONY QUINN
The Academy Award winning actor signs a disclaimer stating that he has not received compensation for appearing on an NBC program and he agrees to notify the NBC Compliance and Practices Department if anyone attempts to induce him to violate the network's policy
Partly Printed Document signed: "Anthony Quinn", 1 page, 8½x11. No place, 1990 March 19. Headed: "Statement Pursuant to Section 507 of the Communications Act of 1934 - Performer". Quinn signs a disclaimer stating that he has not received compensation for appearing on an NBC program and he agrees to notify the NBC Compliance and Practices Department if anyone attempts to induce him to violate the network's policy. Quinn's name, the date and "taping" written in unknown hand. In 1990, Quinn appeared in two feature films, Revenge and Ghosts Can't Do It, and two made-for-TV movies, Il Mago and The Old Man and the Sea, and he also made a guest appearance on The Howard Stern Show in October. Mexican-born actor Anthony Quinn (1915-2001) portrayed peasants and other memorable, earthy characters in a 65-year film acting career. He earned Academy Awards as Best Supporting Actor for Viva Zapata (1952) and Lust for Life (1956), and Quinn was nominated for the Best Actor Oscar for Wild is the Wind (1957) and for his most fondly remembered role as the title character in Zorba the Greek (1964). The second of Quinn's memoirs, One Man Tango (1997), was candid and apologetic about events in his tempestuous private life. Quinn was also a talented painter. Lightly creased. Fine condition.
