Document signed: "Tom Stafford", "V. Brand", "D.K. Slayton", "A. Leonov" (in Russian) and "V. Kubasov" (in Russian), 1p, 14x11, parchment-like paper. Certificate printed in blue ink with colorful 3½ inch diameter Apollo-Soyuz emblem affixed at left. Apollo linked up in space with Soyuz in July 1975. The crew conducted experiments, shared meals, and held a joint news conference. This certificate of appreciation signed by the entire crew was presented (name not filled in) after the October 13-25, 1975 post-flight tour of both crews across the U.S. THOMAS P. STAFFORD (b.1930) was the commander and DONALD SLAYTON (1924-1993) was the docking module pilot of Apollo 18. VANCE BRAND (b.1931) was the command module pilot of Apollo 18. ALEXEI LEONOV (b.1934) was the commander and VALERI N. KUBASOV (1935-2014) was the flight engineer of Soyuz 19. Lightly creased. Faint vertical fold touches the "S" in Stafford, "a" in Brand and "K" in Slayton's signature. 1-inch tear (all intact) at upper blank margin. Otherwise, fine condition.
