In French, with translation. In full: "If you have some time to
consecrate to copying, and if you come some morning before ten oclock (sic)
I would have some work to give you." The French poet, the winner of the
first Nobel Prize in Literature (1901), is best known for his two long
philosophical poems, La Justice (1878) and Le Bonheur
[Happiness] (1888). Slightly creased. Ink note (unknown hand) at lower
margin. 2 mounting remnants at upper left blank margin. Fine condition.
