Flag for the Bank of America Championship tournament, June 2005. The tournament was held at Nashawtuc Country Club, Concord, Massachusetts. Craig STADLER was the defending champion. After a delay caused by a lightning storm, Mark McNulty defeated Tom PURTZER on the second hole of a sudden death playoff to win this senior circuit event. Fifty years after he won his first major golf championship, the Masters Tournament of 1955, PALMER was playing in one of his last competitive tournaments. One month later (July 2005), he announced his retirement from competitive golf after missing the cut at the U.S. Senior Open. Ink has bled slightly on some signatures. Overall, fine condition.
