Show Bill signed: "Boris/Karloff", "John Beck"," Josephine Hull", "John Alexander" and "Edgar Stehli" on the cover. 6p, 5¼x7½ affixed to 6¼x8½ sheet. Show Bill for Arsenic and Old Lace at the Walnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia, Pa., beginning January 11, 1943. In this play by Joseph Kesselring, the two charming and elderly Brewster sisters are poisoning lonely old men who have some sort of religious affiliation and consider doing it a charity, with their nephew burying them in the cellar. His brother learns that his kindly old aunts and his sinister brother are all serial killers, and tries to sort it out fast so he can go on his honeymoon. The entire action of the play takes place in the living room of the Brewster home in Brooklyn. Lightly creased. Slightly soiled. Folds, horizontal fold touches "eck" in Beck. ¼-inch separation on fold at right edge (all intact). Glue remnants show through at left edge of page 3. Sheet irregularly cut.
