Contract signed "Arthur Peterson Jr" as Performer in blue ink. 2 pages, 8¼x13¾, 1 sheet, front and verso, binder holes along top and left edge. April 15, 1964. Peterson signed this contract with Selmur Productions, Inc. to appear as Mr. Jorgensen in the April 15, 1964 episode of General Hospital. He was to be paid $155 plus 10 percent. American character actor Peterson (1912-1996) can be seen in over 60 movies and TV shows released between 1948 and 1983, including a recurring role as the Major on Soap (1977) and repeat appearances on Bonanza (1962-1972), Mannix (1968-1969) and Gunsmoke (1960-1969) and in ABC's first sitcom, That's O'Toole (1949). Most of his appearances were in supporting and guest star roles on TV. Before appearing on film or TV, he was a professional actor with the first Federal Theatre Project and portrayed the Rev. Dr. John Ruthledge on the radio version of The Guiding Light (1937-1946). Lightly toned and creased. Staple hole in top left corner. Folded once and unfolded. Otherwise in fine condition.
