Also we have an answering service. Don't come to the city very often. If we do, we'll try T.R. 9-7307. See that L.A. symphony cannot play National Anthem anymore - or if they do play the Symphony - it means overtime for the musicians. When one is practically retired one reads all sorts of things. Love from us both." Treacher (1884-1975) quickly established himself in butler/servant roles in films, notably in several Shirley Temple films. He was awarded top billing in Thank You Jeeves (1936) and Step Lively Jeeves (1937), both based on the butler character created by P.G. Wodehouse. His last film was Mary Poppins (1964); he was a recurrent guest star on The Beverly Hillbillies that same year. In addition to his film roles, his recognition exists today through the franchising of his name, Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips. Slightly creased. Paper clip impression at left, touching one letter of text. Stain (½x½) in upper left corner. Otherwise, fine condition.
