FELIX FRANKFURTER
Felix Frankfurter sends an early typed letter to Secretary of the
Interior Franklin K. Lane discussing the problems in his department.
Early Typed Letter Signed: "Felix Frankfurter", 1p, 5x8.
Washington, D.C., 1913 December 26. To Secretary of the Interior Franklin K.
Lane, Washington, D.C. In full: "May I express to you the delight with
which I read your first report - the vivid focussing (sic) on the central
problem of your department, no less than the detailed persuasiveness with which
you analyzed the legislative needs of the problem. I wonder if you can spare me
six copies which I should like to put in the hands of people who would be six
more nuclei of the needed public opinion. With the season's best wishes."
