Brandeis adds that the book was "published by Harper & Bros. May 20th". The first major employment managers' association was established in Boston in 1910 under the chairmanship of Meyer Bloomfield. Louis D. Brandeis had known Bloomfield from his days as a Boston attorney when he became known as "The People's Lawyer". On January 28, 1916, President Wilson appointed Brandeis the first Jewish Associate Justice of the Supreme Court. He served until he retired in 1939. Slightly soiled and creased.
