ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE MOVIE CAST: JOHN AGAR and KENNY MILLER
Color publicity photo for Attack of the Puppet People signed by John Agar and Ken Miller.
Photograph signed: "God Bless/John Agar", in black felt tip, and "Kenny Miller" in silver ink. Color, 10x8. An apparently rising star in such war and Western films as She Wore a Yellow Ribbon (1949), handsome actor John Agar (1921-2002) was largely consigned to low budget science fiction movies after his divorce from Shirley Temple in 1949 (the 27-year-old actor had married 17-year-old Temple in 1945 after a whirlwind courtship). He later appeared in three Westerns with friend John Wayne (1969-1971) and was often sought for film and TV character roles. Ken Miller (b. 1931) hitchhiked to Hollywood against the wishes of his fundamentalist preacher father. He was seen often in film supporting roles, while palling around off screen with a set of better known contemporaries, including Connie Stevens, Troy Donahue, Annette Funicello and Burt Reynolds. He was married for a time to country and novelty singer Molly Bee. Fine condition.
