Inscribed photograph signed: "To Tommy/All good/Audrey/Totter". B/w 8x10. Audrey Totter (1918-2013), a successful radio performer by 1939, was signed by M-G-M in 1945. She appeared in a number of films, including The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946), Lady in the Lake (1946), The Carpetbaggers (1964) and The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again (1979), and Totter was a frequent fixture on the small screen as well. She appeared in several made-for-TV movies, was a regular on three TV series (Cimarron City, 1958-1960, as Beth Purcell; Our Man Higgins, 1962-1963, as Alice MacRobert; and, Medical Center, 1972-1976, as Nurse Wilcox), and she appeared as a guest star on shows from The Ford Television Theatre (1953) to Murder, She Wrote (1987). Her earliest TV appearance was in the late 1940s, however, when she made a commercial for Lustre Creme shampoo. Corners worn. Edges soiled and toned. Otherwise, fine condition.
