Show Bill signed: "Best Wishes/Love/Liz Callaway", "All the best/Catherine Cox", " You guys were/great to play/to/Todd Graff" and "Best Always/Martin Vidnovic", 6½x9, 86 pages. Playbill for the musical Baby at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre in New York. Baby had a great Broadway run of 241 performances (1983-1984), receiving 7 Tony nominations, including Best Featured Actor/Actress nominations for TONY GRAFF and LIZ CALLAWAY. Graff's performance earned a Theatre World Award, while CATHERINE COXwon a Drama Desk Award. Callaway went on to star in the 10-year run of Miss Saigon; Cox earned another Tony nomination for Oh Coward in 1987. MARTIN VIDNOVIC, a veteran of several revivals of stage classics (The King and I, Oklahoma, Brigadoon, Guys and Dolls) went on to a starring role in Footloose. Callaway was the replacement Grizabella in Cats for 5 years, and won an Emmy for the children's show Ready to Go. Graff, one of four Graffs on Broadway stages (a sister and 2 cousins), had turned his attention to writing and directing films, including Camp (a Sundance award nominee, 2003) and Bandslam (2009). Signatures light but legible. 3 pin-sized holes at upper right corner. Otherwise fine condition.
