The show lasted only one season, but Field had become popular with teen fans and in 1967 was given a second crack at a sitcom with The Flying Nun. In 1976, Field proved her mettle as an actress in the TV movie Sybil, winning an Emmy for her virtuoso performance as a woman suffering from multiple personalities stemming from childhood abuse. Field has starred in such winners as Norma Rae, Places in the Heart, Steel Magnolias, Mrs. Doubtfire and Forrest Gump. Field, nominated twice for the Academy Award for Best Actress, won both times: Norma Rae (1980) and Places in the Heart (1985). The Harvard roommate of future Vice President Al Gore, TOMMY LEE JONES (b. 1946) won an Oscar as Best Supporting Actor as U.S. Marshal Sam Gerard in The Fugitive (1993). He also earned Emmys for the TV movies The Executioner's Song (1997) and Lonesome Dove (1989). The hugely popular Jones has starred in such films as Coal Miner's Daughter (1980), Batman Forever (1995), Men in Black (1997) and its sequel, Men in Black II (2002), and Space Cowboys (2000). In 2007 he scored a double hit with No Country for Old Men and The Valley of Elah, earning several nominations and awards for each. Lightly toned. Fine condition.
