Autograph Sentiment signed: "Every good wish/Robinson Hare" on a 4x2 piece of paper, and "Sincerely yours/Alfred Drayton" on a 3¾x2¼ piece of paper, both affixed to a 4½x4¾ piece of black cardstock. British actor ROBERTSON HARE (1891-1979) was born in London, England. He appeared on stage and in films for over fifty years, but is well remembered for his role as The Archdeacon, The Venerable Henry Blunt in the television series All Gas and Gaiters (1966-1971). His films credits include Turkey Time (1933), A Cup of Kindness (1934), Banana Ridge (1942), My Wife's Family (1956) and Salt and Pepper (1968). British actor ALFRED DRAYTON (1881-1949) was born in Brighton, England. A stage actor who performed in the West End of London and on Broadway (These Charming People, 1925-1926; The High Road, 1929-1929), he appeared in nearly forty films between 1915 and 1947. Starting in silents, the character actor appeared in films like Iron Justice (1915), and he transitioned well into "talkies", earning starring roles in several films including Banana Ridge (1943) and Woman Aren't Angels (1943).
