Black and white publicity photo of Bain from the head up in a black blouse and pearl necklace and with a flower on her blouse, signed "Maybe you'll like this one better" in blue ink
Photograph inscribed and signed: "Dear George/Maybe you'll/like this one-/better-/Barbara Bain". B/w, 7¾x10 overall, image 7½x9½ (one surface). Barbara Bain, born Millicent Fogel in Chicago, Illinois in 1931, has over 60 TV shows and movies to her credit, but is probably best known for her role as secret agent Cinnamon Carter in Mission: Impossible (1966-1969). She won Emmys in three consecutive years (1967-1969) for her work on Mission: Impossible.Bain starred in Mission: Impossible with husband Martin Landau, whom she met at New York's Actors Studio and Neighborhood Playhouse in 1956. Bain and Landau were married from 1957 to 1993. Science fiction fans probably know Bain from her role as Helena Russel, also opposite Landau, in Space: 1999 (1975-1978). Lightly creased and bowed. Tape remnants at top of photo. Light spotting and horizontal striations on image (not visible head-on). Otherwise in fine condition.
