Barbara Eden signs a contract to appear as a Principal Performer in Kraft Music Hall.
Carbon Contract signed: "Barbara Eden" in ink as Performer, 2p, 8½x11, front and verso. No place, 1967 July 17. Standard AFTRA Engagement Contract for a Single Television Appearance between Yorkshire Productions and Eden for her appearance as a Principal Performer in Kraft Music Hall, airing October 18, 1967. Also signed by a Producer for Yorkshire Productions, Inc., who has also initialed at mid-right margin. In 1956, film and television actress Barbara Eden made her film debut in Back from Eternity. She worked steadily in television, finally attaining leading-lady status on the 1958 sitcom, How to Marry a Millionaire, in which she played a myopic "Marilyn Monroe"-type gold digger. Good film and TV roles followed for the lovely blonde actress, and full stardom arrived with the NBC comedy series, I Dream of Jeannie. Eden played the curvaceous bottle imp from 1965-1970, reviving the character in a brace of TV movies, the last one produced in 1991. Eden's post-Jeannie career has included several films, TV guest star appearances, theatrical and nightclub engagements and another sitcom, 1981's Harper Valley P.T.A. Eden's social security number blacked out on scan. Lightly creased with folds, not at signatures. 2x¾-inch irregular paper loss at upper left blank margin. Lightly soiled at blank areas. 2 file holes and staple holes at upper margin, pencil notes (unknown hand) at upper right corner. Overall, fine condition.
