Whiting". B/w, 5x7. Actress Barbara Whiting (1931-2004), the daughter of
composer Richard A. Whiting and sister of singer/actress Margaret
Whiting, is best known for starring in the film and subsequent radio
versions of Junior Miss. Whiting, who made her debut in that film in
1945, went on to appear in several other features through 1955, and she also
guest starred on several TV shows, including Dragnet, The
Public Defender and Fireside Theatre. In 1955 and 1957, Barbara
and Margaret starred in the TV series, Those Whiting Girls, which was a summer
replacement for I Love Lucy. Slightly worn at corners. Lightly soiled
at blank margins. Fine condition.
