Program for a production of the musical comedy Come Spy With Me at London's Whitehall Theatre. British actor Barbara Windsor (1937-2020), received a Tony award nomination for her performance in Oh What a Lovely War (1964-1965). She made her film debut in an uncredited role as a squealy schoolgirl in The Belles of St. Trinian's (1953) and found plenty of work as a squealy dumb blonde in such movies as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1963) and in 13 Carry On movies (1964-1977). She lost work in movies when dumb blondes became unfashionable, but continued her work in TV, most notably as Peggy Mitchell on Eastenders (1994-2009), as well as a 2006 episode of Doctor Who. Her autobiography, All of Me, candidly discusses all the tabloid details of her colorful life. Corners and edges lightly worn. Image lightly faded. Otherwise, fine condition.
