Weaver", 6x3. Carpenteria, California, March 11, 2002. Check #5073, drawn on Conrad's personal account at the Bank of America, payable to Frances Weaver for $100.00. He is the only American to bullfight in all three of these countries to date. His works include My Life as a Matador (1956), Gates of Fear (1957), The Cigar: An Illustrated History of Fine Smoking (1996), and Snoopy's Guide to the Writing Life (2002). Frances Weaver (1924-2004) wrote several self-help books for older women, including The Girls with Grandmothers Face: Single and Sixty is Not for Sissies (1987) and I'm Not As Old As I Used to Be (1998). Her books focus on the improvement of life for older woman who is still looking for excitement and adventure in daily life. In addition to her many books, she also wrote articles for various newspapers and appeared on local television stations in her final place of residence in Pueblo, Colorado.
