From 1924-1929, Baron Kings Norton of Wotton Underwood (1902-1997) worked on
construction of the airship R101, at the time, the largest flying object ever
built. Throughout his life, he held numerous government positions relating
to aircraft and published papers on theory of structures, wing flutter, gas
turbines, civil aviation and airships. Lightly soiled and scratched. Mounting
sheet is creased. Overall, fine condition.
