BARRY BONDS Exceptional home plate-shaped wood burned plaque with three images of Bonds and a signed commemorative Barry Bonds baseball affixed. Ephemera signed: "Barry Bonds" in black felt tip. A wood burned home plate-shaped display plaque with three images of Bonds in different stages of his career burnt into it. With the artist's S. William signature burnt into lower right. Accompanied by: Baseball signed: "Barry Bonds Wolf 94", Rawlings Official National League commemorative baseball with color image of a young Bonds wearing a Pittsburg Pirates cap printed on it, William D. White, president. In 2001, Barry Bonds broke Mark McGwire's single season record of 70 home runs by hitting 73. On August 7, 2007, he hit his 756th Major League homer to break Hank Aaron's career record. Bonds is the only player with at least 500 HR's and 500 Stolen Bases; no one even has 400-400! Bonds, who debuted with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1986 and joined the San Francisco Giants as a free agent in 1993, is a 12-time All-Star and 6-time National League MVP, but the latter years of his career have been dogged by controversy about his alleged use of performance enhancing steroid drugs. On November 18, 2007, a grand jury indicted Bonds - not for steroid use - but for perjury and obstruction of justice in the investigation of BALCO, the Bay Area Laboratory Cooperative which allegedly supplied many athletes with banned substances. Fine condition.
