Arthur" B/w, 5x7. Beatrice "Bea" Arthur (1922-2009) began doing TV comedy
in 1954 (The George Gobel Show, Caesar's Hour). After a hit
guest starring appearance on All on the Family in 1971, Arthur got a
sitcom of her own, Maude (1972-1978), for which she won an Emmy
Award and was nominated for four Golden Globes. Later the co-star
of The Golden Girls (1985-1992), Arthur had made her TV debut on
Kraft Television Theatre in 1951. She has also appeared on
Broadway, winning a Tony Award for her performance as Vera Charles in
Mame (a role she reprised in the 1975 film, for which she received a
Golden Globe nomination) and stealing the show as the matchmaker in
Fiddler on the Roof. Fine condition.
