Signature from the award winning actor to radio personality George
Sanders
Inscribed signature: "Hi George/Beau Bridges/Dec. 30, 1977",
5¼x7¾. Actor Beau Bridges (born Lloyd Vernet Bridges III in 1941), the oldest
son of actor Lloyd Bridges and brother of Jeff Bridges, was nominated for
a 1968 Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe for his performance in For
Love of Ivy and won an Emmy Award and Golden Globe for Best
Actor for his role as the title character in the made-for-TV movie,
Without Warning: The James Brady Story (1991). In 1977, the year he
signed this autograph, Bridges appeared in the feature films Mutual
Respect, Greased Lightning and The Fifth Musketeer and in a TV
movie, The Four Feathers. The actor/director, who earned the best notices
of his career playing opposite his brother in The Fabulous Baker Boys
(1989), also starred with (and directed) most of his family (including his
mother and father) in the TV special, The Thanksgiving Promise (1986),
and appeared with Lloyd and his own son, Dylan, in TV's Outer Limits
(1995). On April 7, 2003, Beau, who was nicknamed after Ashley Wilkes' son in
Gone With the Wind, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
next to those of his father and younger brother. George R. Sanders,
originally a disc jockey, became a prominent radio/TV interview host, first in
Los Angeles and later in Portland. Ink caption (unknown hand) at lower
