Photograph signed: "Mary Stuart Masterson", "Christian Slater", B/w 10x8. The daughter of director Peter Masterson and actress Carlin Glynn, MARY STUART MASTERSON (b. 1966) made her film debut at age 9 in The Stepford Wives (1975). Other film roles have included Heaven Help Us (1985), Fried Green Tomatoes (1991), Bed of Roses (1996) and West of Here (2002). She played the title role in the short-lived TV series Kate Masterson (2001). She won a Theatre World Award and Tony nomination for her role in Nine (2003). Masterson was nominated for a Tony as Best Featured Actress for Nine: the Musical (2003), and starred in the Emmy-winning Something the Lord Made (2004). Having directed some TV episodes, she directed her first feature film, the indie-award winning The Cake Eaters, in 2007. CHRISTIAN SLATER (b. 1969), the only one of these four signers who hadn't appeared in the original Young Guns, earned his first favorable notice starring opposite Sean Connery in The Name of the Rose (1986), but did not become a star until he co-starred opposite Winona Ryder in the darkly satirical Heathers (1989). Slater has maintained a film career starring as a high school geek with a cool secret life in Pump Up the Volume (1990), to the romantic Bed of Roses (1996), to high-voltage actioners like Broken Arrow (1996), as a suicidal bookkeeper in Julian Po and in the suspense thriller Hard Rain (1998). Among his recent star performances is Lies and Illusions (2009). Corners slightly worn and creased. Fine condition.
