In full: "I hereby grant a non-exclusive license to the MOTION PICTURE AND TELEVISION FUND, a California charitable corporation, USA MARKETING GROUP, INC., a Texas Corporation, and NICHOLAS VOLPE, individually, for a one-time use of my likeness as illustrated by Nicholas Volpe in reference to my performance in GANDHI, to be used in the fund-raising coupon book entitled, 'HEART OF HOLLYWOOD.'" Date and "GANDHI" filled in by Kingsley. British actor Ben Kingsley (born Krishna Bhanji in 1943) won the 1982 Best Actor Academy Award for his portrayal of the title character in Ghandi and was nominated for Best Supporting Actor Oscars in 1991 (Bugsy) and 2001 (Sexy Beast). The other feature films of the stage actor turned movie star include Dave (1993), Schindler's List (1993), Rules of Engagement (2000), A.I.: Artificial Intelligence (2001) and Tuck Everlasting (2002), and Kingsley has also starred in a number of made-for-TV movies and documentaries. NICHOLAS VOLPE, a noted portrait artist, is known for his detailed renderings of celebrities, usually executed in charcoal or pastels. Fine condition.
