BEN KRONEN
Kronen signed this computer printout letter to Susan Lane at the American Museum of Historical Documents in Las Vegas, explaining that he missed her calls because of his answering machine
Typed letter Signed: "Ben Kronen". 1 page, 8¼x10¾, dot-matrix printout with perforated edges. Studio City, California. Addressed to Ms. Susan Lane, The American Museum of Historical Documents, Las Vegas, Nevada. In full: "Dear Susan, It was so nice talking with you on the phone the other night…I'm sorry you had to call twice because my machine was not working properly. It is, as I told you, a $600 machine and has a switch that tells it what to do right near the on-off switch. That was turned to 'announcements' which is not meant to receive messages. At any rate I had the pleasure of speaking with you in person! Last night I went though some scripts and gathered some of them along with some pictures. Within the next few days, I'll put them together with some signatures, notes, and things, [not included]and send them off to you. You maykeep what you like and can use. You'll find the script for 'Mugsy's Girls' which was shot in Las Vegas, and a picture or two of that movie. I'm also sending along some 'call sheets'which the average person never sees. As I said, you may keep what you like and we'll go from there. Sincerely, Ben Kronen". Ben Kronen is a stage, television, and film actor. He has almost 50 television and film acting credits to his name since 1981, mostly in bit parts, as well as extensive experience in TV commercials. Credits include Garfield (2004), Tower of Terror (1997), and two episodes of Doogie Howser, M.D. (1989-1993). His resume stretches back to 1940, when he broke into show biz on New York radio. He headed the Armed Forced radio station in New Guinea during World War II and, after coming home, directed for radio and stage before making the leap to Hollywood in 1957. Lightly toned and creased. Folded twice and unfolded. Otherwise, fine condition.
