I hope that 1981 will bring you happiness and good cheer." Photograph not present. In 1981, Bresslaw appeared as Gort in the feature film, Hawk the Slayer. British comic actor Bernard Bresslaw (1934-1993) is perhaps best known for his 14 Carry On films, which were released from 1965 (beginning with Carry On Cowboy) through 1975. Bresslaw, who also acted in several other feature films, including Men of Sherwood Forest (1954, his first film), Jabberwocky (1977), Krull (1983) and Leon the Pig Farmer (1992), also appeared on the BBC TV series The Army Game (1957-1958, playing Private "Popeye" Popplewell) and Our House (1961-1962) and on the stage. Fine condition.
