The Hall of Famer signs a 4¼x8 card with a color magazine photo of
him affixed.
Signature: "Bernie Parent", 4¼x8 card, with a 4x4½ color
magazine photo of him affixed (2 surfaces). Bernie Parent (b. 1945) was a
Canadian pro hockey goaltender. A two-time winner of the Vezina trophy as the
NHL's best goalkeeper and three-time All-Star, Parent got his start in the
NHL in 1965 with the Boston Bruins, but moved to the expansion Philadelphia
Flyers, the team he's most associated with, in 1967. He was traded briefly to
the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1971, where he spent the better part of two seasons
under the wing of legendary goalie Jacques Plante. He returned to the Flyers
in 1973 on fire, leading them to their first two Stanley Cup championships.
Parent was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1984. Lightly
worn. Otherwise, fine condition.
