Pamphlet signed: "Bert Campaneris", 2 pages, 8½x11. Campaneris signs on the cover of this pamphlet for the Equitable Old Timers Game at Shea Stadium on July 23, 1988. The information inside includes black and white photographs of "Great Plays at Shea" and the rosters for the teams of the day. Surrounded by superstars, Bert Campaneris (Born in 1942) was a key contributor to the great Oakland teams with his competitive spirit and superb play. "Campy" became one of baseball's all-time top base thiefs, stealing 649 bases to rank seventh all-time on his retirement and leading the AL six times, including his first four full seasons (1965-68).He was voted All-Star in 1968, 1972-75 and 1977. In 1983, at the age of 41, Campaneris returned to the big leagues as a utility infielder with the Yankees. He responded with a career-high .322 batting average in 59 games and solid defense at second and third base. Fine condition.
