(unknown hand) at lower edge: "April, 15, 1932 L." American silent film star Bert Lytell
(1885-1954) appeared in adventures, melodramas and romances. His first starring role
came in Ladyfingers (1921), his final one in The Last of the Lone Wolf (1930). He was
married to actress Claire Windsor from 1924 to 1927. The arrival of talkies ended his film,
but not his acting, career. He was active on Broadway stages through 1946. Lytell also
directed one film, Along Came Love (1937). He was President of Actors' Equity
(1940-1946). Binding holes at left edge. Toned at edges. Lightly creased. Otherwise, fine
condition.
