Signature: "Bert Lytell", in purple ink, 3x2 cut irregularly. American silent film star Bert Lytell (1885-1954) appeared in adventures, melodramas and romances. His first starring role came in Ladyfingers (1921), his final one in The Last of the Lone Wolf (1930). The arrival of talkies ended his film, but not his acting, career. He was active on Broadway stages through 1946. Lytell also directed one film, Along Came Love (1937). He was President of Actors' Equity (1940-1946). Stray ink line at upper right corner. Typed "ng" at left center margin. Lightly soiled. Otherwise, fine condition.
