Newspaper photograph signed: “Bert Marshall” in blue felt. 4¾x7. Canadian defenseman Bert Marshall (b. 1943) played 14 seasons in the NHL with the Detroit Red Wings, Oakland Seals, California Golden Seals, New York Rangers and the New York Islanders between 1965 and 1979. A Calder Memorial Trophy candidate as a rookie, he scored 198 points in his NHL career. He retired with a record of 198 points in 868 games. After retirement, Marshall became a scout for the Carolina Hurricanes, winning his first Stanley Cup with the Franchise in 2006. Toned. Corners rounded and creased. Ink note (unknown hand) on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
