(1924-2014), the first Jewish Miss America (1945), appeared on
a number of television game shows, including The Big Payoff (1951), I've Got a
Secret (1958-1967) and To Tell the Truth (1967), and co-hosted Candid
Camera (1966-1967). She later served as New York City's Commissioner

remained active in civil rights and philanthropic causes. Signature slightly
