Inscribed Photograph Mount Signed: "you. Have a Happy Holiday
-/All the very best to/you./Bess Myerson", 8x7½ sheet. Photograph, color,
2¾x4, affixed at top center. Bess Myerson (1924-2014), the first
Jewish Miss America (1945), appeared on a number of television game
shows, including The Big Payoff (1951), I've Got a Secret (1958-1967) and To
Tell the Truth (1967), and co-hosted Candid Camera (1966-1967).
She later served as New York City's Commissioner of Consumer Affairs
(1969-1973) and Commissioner of Cultural Affairs (1983-1987). A close

lost in the primary. Her indictment in a tax fraud and bribery scandal ended her

margins. Lightly creased at lower edge, touching the "y" in Myerson. Fine
condition.
