Addressed to: “Shirley Pathburn/RJD #1/Whiteball, N.Y.”After Cole Porter saw Betty Ann Grove (b. 1929) on the early TV program Stop the Music, he cast her as Bianca in the Broadway musical Kiss Me Kate. On radio with Jim Backus and in TV guest spots with Bert Parks, Red Buttons and others, Grove was frequent performer on 1950s television. From the 1960s onward, she concentrated on regional theater, with occasional visits to Broadway in mature roles. One 2 cents stamp. Lightly toned. Otherwise, fine condition.
