Betty Jane Watson is American actress born in Bloomington Illinois on December 28 1921. She debuted on Broadway in 1944 succeeding Joan Roberts of her role in Oklahoma (1944-1947). Some of her other musical roles include leads in Toplitzky of Notre Dame, Sleepy Hollow, Hilarities and As the Girls Go. She took the place of many famous actresses including Mary Hatcher in Texas, Li'l Darlin (1949), Martha Raye as Annie during NYC City Center revival of Annie Get Your Gun (1958), and Lucille ball in Wildcat (1961). She also made several television appearances and was a popular night club performer. Heavily toned and creased. Clear tape at edges. Corners creased and worn. Multiple surface damages. Surface creases seen head on. Ink stamp on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
