page, 8½x11. Written on personal letterhead. Addressed to Jim Keenan of New York
City, New York. In full: "Thank you for your kind letter. It is
wonderful to known that one's work is appreciated. I am very grateful for your
support. I have autographed the photos as you requested. Again, thank you for
writing. People like you make our efforts worthwhile. Sincerely". Betty
Lynn Buckley (b. 1947) won a Tony Award (Best Featured Actress in a Musical)
for her performance as Grizabella in Cats (1982). She sang the
show-stopping tune "Memories" from that show at the Kennedy Center tribute to
Andrew Lloyd Webber (2006). She had the starring role of Norma Desmond in
another Webber musical, Sunset Boulevard (1994), and was nominated
for another Tony for Triumph of Love (1997). She has recorded eleven
albums, receiving two Grammy nominations. Buckley has appeared in 13 films,
starting with Carrie (as Carrie's mother, 1976), and numerous TV shows.
She played Abby Bradford for four seasons of Eight is Enough
(1979-1983). Lightly toned. Corners rounded. Light surface creases. Ink
