8x10 of her standing next to a Board indicating Warner Bros. Studios, Lone
Ranger, part of Lila and the date 8-4-55. Beverly Washburn (b. 1943)
had her first credited role in this film, which co-starred George Reeves and
Phyllis Coates and would become the two-part pilot for the TV series The
Adventures of Superman. Washburn
played youthful roles in other films, including Frank Capra's Here Comes the
Groom (1951) and Old Yeller (1957). On TV, she played the star's
teenage daughter on The New Loretta Young Show (1962-1963), and made
guest appearances on many series, graduating from child roles to more mature
ones in shows like Leave It To Beaver, The Lone Ranger and
Star Trek. She returned to feature films occasionally, most recently in
Hard Four (2007). Corners lightly creased. Fine condition.
