1977 Topps hockey card No. 227. Canadian ice hockey player Bill Barber was
born on July 11, 1952 in Callander, Ontario. Selected as the seventh overall
pick in the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers, he played his
entire 12 season NHL career with Philadelphia (1972-1984). Having scored an
astounding 883 points in his career, the left wing was inducted into the
Hockey Hall of Fame in 1990. He later coached the Flyers to a record of
136-73, including two playoff appearances, from 2000 to 2002. Lightly worn.
