Bill Frasier (1908-1987) was a Scottish-born English comedian and actor, best known as Sergeant-Major Snudge on the BBC comedy The Army Game (1959-1960). He reprised the role of Snudge in the Army Game spinoff Bootsie & Snudge which stayed on air for 14 years (1960-1974). With over 120 screen appearances, Frasier played in a number of English classics including The Corn is Green (1979), The Barefoot Contessa (1954), and Flesh and Blood (1980-1982). Also a stage actor, he appeared in W. Somerset Maugham's The Circle at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London (1976). In 1987, Frasier earned a Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for his performance in the comedy When We are Married (1986). Attached to 10½x7½ cardstock (same size, 2 surfaces). Creased and toned. Slightly soiled. Edges and corners worn and slightly rippled. Soiled with adhesive residue on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
